Fronti GSM alarmer FS280G og FS300G har fået flere smarte funktioner, f.eks SMS fjernstyring af din alarm via en mobiltelefon, her kan følgende nævnes: til/frakoble alarmen,tænde for udstyr som elvarme, varmepumper, lys, eller hvad man vil fjernstyre via kontakten FS172 (se tilbehør alarmer), yderlig kan man programmere alarmens funktioner via SMS beskeder f.eks kan man skrive en dansk text som er tilkyttet hver zone, ud over SMS fjernstyringen kan Fronti GSM alarmer også fjernstyres via en alm. telefon, hvor man ringer alarmens telefon nummer op og taster en funktions kode. Fronti GSM alarmen har flere udgange hvor man kan tilslutte exsterne sirener, lys, tågekanoner m.m. her kan nævnes at der en udgang som følger til/frakoblingen af alarmen det kan i nogle tilfælde bruges til at aktiverer f.eks IHC lysstyringen i dit hus hvor forskellige lamper kan aktiveres efter et tidsskema i husets IHC styringen dette gør at tyven tror der er nogle hjemme i huset. Fronti GSM alarmer har yderlig ingen exsterne strømforsyninger til 230V det vil sige at GSM alarmen bliver leveret med ledning incl. 230V stikprop til en almindelig stikkontakt i huset.
